As HRCT’s President, Eric provides the best computer and IT support, repair and managed services for businesses throughout the state, region and across the United States. Eric has been in the business of providing IT and consulting for small and medium business for more than 17 years. Eric joined the HRCT executive team in 2010 to grow the IT division and integrate customers’ IT systems with business telephone systems.
Eric Schueler grew up in rural Minnesota and was transplanted to Virginia via the Navy where he worked on the electronics on F-14 fighter jets. While serving his country, he completed a degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering and landed a part time job working for a small computer company building and installing computers for small businesses.
After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Eric became a full time IT and computer technician. While working the way up the ranks to become the Senior Service Manager, he accumulated many certifications including:

Rob started his communications training in the United States Coast Guard.
While stationed in Kodiak, Alaska then Portsmouth, Virginia. He moved back home to Los Angeles in 2001 and started working for Innovatel as an entry level technician (helper). With the help of the veteran technicians and plenty of system manuals he became certified in Avaya, Nortel, & NEC phone system. As a fiber optic certified technician he led all fiber projects, and many cabling project under the same umbrella. From project management to field installation.
He and his family moved back to the Hampton Roads area back in 2003. Coming to work with Hampton Roads Communications first as a contractor, then as full time employee. With 10 years at the company Robert has worked his way up the ladder to the position he is today. As a Samsung certified technician he leads all installs from, sales engineering to installs and training. There isn’t a job too big or small for him to tackle.
Fun Fact: Rob spent four years in the United States Coast Guard and loves the ocean. When he’s not working, Rob spends most of his time playing and watching soccer.

Victoria has been with the business virtually her whole life, as she is the third generation to work for HRCT.
It started as simply as helping her dad carry the smallest of materials and learning how to make jewelry out of wire to pass the time on job sites. She has seen the business grow from just 2 men and a truck, to now over 15 dedicated employees.
Victoria now resides in the role of Office Manager, helping customers with everything from service order requests to billing inquiries. If our customers need anything, they do not hesitate to reach out to her. Victoria has worked in the service industry for the past 8 years, starting in high school and working full time through her studies as a Marine Biology major at Old Dominion University.
Fun Fact: Victoria loves animals. At one point, she even had 2 rats! It comes naturally to her, loving animals since she was a child and working in the veterinary field through college. Her favorite place is the Virginia Aquarium.

Craig provides outstanding service and is responsible for helping our clients find the best business telephone, computer and IT solution for their company’s needs.
For the past 18 years, Craig has been involved in most areas of the communication and technology industry. Craig began his career in the United States Coast Guard where he was trained to be a telephone technician. After leaving the service, Craig gained more experience and training as a service technician, service manager, sales engineer and as an entrepreneur. After running his own business, Craig came to HRCT in 2012 as our Senior Solutions Consultant.
Craig has been corporate educated and trained on both the technical and sales side of our industry over the past 18 years. His schooling, training, and 18 years of experience gives him the knowledge and knowhow for most business applications from start to finish. Craig is certified on Avaya systems/Vodavi Systems. Craig has many years of experience on Audio/Visual options and also Call Recording Solutions.

David has been a non-military local in Hampton Roads his whole life, aside from a few brief chapters in Florida, California, and Tennessee. He began his career in technology in 1999, after discovering that he was better suited to technical work than the creative computer animation career he had previously imagined. He started by working in a local computer repair shop and attending certification classes at night, ultimately earning his MCSE, and soundly besting his classmates in LAN games of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
He was one of the initial hires to HRCT’s IT team early on. He then spent the next 15 years filling his resume with typical 2-to-3-year stints, ascending from technician to architect to engineer, eventually holding several Director roles at various private and DoD contracting operations. After transitioning into a pre-sales role at a large VAR, he discovered that his experience had finally prepared him to be honest with himself and fully shift away from technical work into outside sales. Having seen much of what the market offered otherwise, he was ready and eager to re-join HRCT’s team in 2024, and plans to be here a good long while.
Outside of work, David plays bass guitar, is a dabbling inventor, and occasionally even touches grass outside.
Aland has over 40 years in the industry.
He has always had a love of computers since first introduced to the TRS-80 Color Computer (CoCo 1) in the early 1980’s. He has a passion to help people get full use out of the computing resources they own, and when required, find what they need to implement technology as a solution.
Aland loves every aspect of the computer business. He enjoys the trust relationship built with integrity and service. He focuses on more than being a nerd or geek and helps people become power users. Aland has worked directly for small government, contracted for large government (military) and worked for and supported non-profit organizations and many small businesses.
Aland is HRCT’s Service Manager, keeping our staff organized, proactive and efficient while supporting diverse network configurations including traditional wired, wireless technologies and VPN. Support Microsoft 365, server, workstations and mobile devices, data restoration services, prompt incident resolution and intrusion detection and mitigation.

Aland is a native of Oregon. He moved to Virginia in 2000 because he liked the people and sunshine here. Aland resides in Portsmouth with his wife and four children. He loves reading, watching movies and shopping and plays video games for stress relief.
Fun Fact: One of Aland’s favorite quotes: From the animated movie Robots “Find a need, fill a need.” His creative outlet is cooking.

Stuart has been working in Information Technology (IT) since 2000, after earning his degree in Information Systems/Operations Management. Stuart joined HRCT in 2015, after working for a small computer company building and repairing computers as a PC Technician and working his way up to a Junior Network Engineer. Born in Rochester, Minnesota, Stuart grew up in Richmond, Virginia.
As HRCT’s Help Desk Manager, Stuart is highly qualified to answer customer questions, solve problems and make sure HRCT’s customers stay connected with their customers. Stuart holds the following certifications: A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) and Microsoft Specialist certifications.
Fun Fact: Stuart has a black belt in karate since he was 16 years old. He also recently started jogging and ran in 2 races. My goal is to run in the Tough Mudder.

Andy came to HRCT from the DOD network and has been in the IT field working in support roles since 2008. He is a military veteran having served in the United States Navy from 2001-2007, working on the Aegis weapon system. Andy has been Security+ Certified since 2011.
Fun Fact: Andy is also a musician and podcaster Co-hosting several podcasts, and has played guitar for several locally based bands in Hampton Roads.

As HRCT’s Senior Systems Administrator, Jeff provides the best IT and computer support, repair and managed services. 1977 was the first year Jeff discovered computers, and with the urging (to put it mildly) of his father, began his personal journey in the world of computing.
Born and raised in Bolton, Connecticut, Jeff joined the US Navy in 1982 as a Data Processing Technician. As the computing world evolved, so did the rate – “Data Processing Tech” migrated to “Radioman”, which finally migrated to its current name “Information Systems Tech” or IT. In August 2006, Jeff retired an ITC, or Information Systems Technician Chief.
Upon retiring, Jeff worked with a small IT company located in the Hampton Roads area, and after 6 years, Jeff made the decision to move on. In December of 2012, Jeff joined the HRCT team. After a 23 year military career and all that followed, Jeff is thrilled to say he’s found a permanent home.
Jeff’s A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications have simply laid the groundwork for his growth. HRCT has invested in that growth, and Jeff has already received extensive training and an advanced Dell SonicWALL certification. HRCT and our clients are lucky to have Jeff on the team.
Fun Fact: My first computer was a Radio Shack Tandy 1000, running at “turbo” speeds of 7.2 MHz. Yes, MHz with an “M.”

Charles has been in the telecommunications business since 2001.
He joined HRCT in September 2013. Charles is certified in business telephone systems, including the NEC I-series, aspire, ux5000, and SV8100 systems, and he is certified on the Altigen phone system. Charles services, repair and replaces business telephone systems like Samsung, Onyx, Avaya, Toshiba phone systems and Valcom paging equipment.
